5 Concrete Driveway Styles We Pour
Every driveway we build is custom-designed for your home, your budget, and your HOA. Here's a quick overview of the options — we'll walk through them all at your free on-site consultation.
1. Plain Concrete (Broom Finish)
The classic, modern South Florida driveway. Clean grey concrete with a brushed broom finish for traction and a contemporary look. The most affordable option, fastest install, and the most durable for daily wear. Pairs beautifully with modern homes.
2. Stamped Concrete Driveway
Poured concrete stamped with patterns that mimic stone, slate, brick, or wood plank. The look of pavers at a fraction of the price — without the maintenance issues (no shifting, no weeds, no sand replacement). Sealed for long-term color retention.
3. Modern Turf-Inlay Driveway
The hottest trend in South Florida luxury homes. Large rectangular concrete pads separated by strips of premium artificial turf for a clean, architectural look. Excellent drainage, minimal upkeep, and unmistakable modern curb appeal.
4. Exposed Aggregate Driveway
Decorative finish that exposes the natural stone aggregate in the concrete for a textured, slip-resistant surface. Great for driveways with slope, pool areas, or homes wanting a more natural, earthy look. Extremely durable.
5. Decorative Concrete Driveway
Stained, scored, or band-detailed concrete for a custom one-of-a-kind look. Includes acid-stained concrete, integral colors, decorative borders, and saw-cut patterns. Common in Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, and historic neighborhoods.
6. Combo / Custom Designs
Mix and match: stamped main driveway with broom-finished aprons, turf inlays around stamped sections, decorative borders around plain pads. We do circular drives, motor courts, side-yard pads, RV pads, and full multi-car luxury layouts.

Demo & Base Prep

Forms & Reinforcement
Forms set to design spec. Rebar or wire mesh installed. Control joints planned.
Pour & Finish
Concrete poured, screeded, floated, finished (or stamped). Same crew on every step.
Curing
Curing compound applied. Walkable in 24–48 hours.
Sealing (decorative)
Stamped & decorative driveways sealed for color retention.
Inspection
City inspection passed. Walkthrough with you.
Cleanup
Site cleaned, forms removed, debris hauled. Spotless.
Drive On It
Passenger vehicles after 5–7 days. Full strength at 28 days.

Right Mix for Florida
We use 4,000+ PSI mixes with proper air entrainment for South Florida heat and humidity — not the cheap 3,000 PSI mix some contractors substitute.
Proper Base Prep
Compacted limerock or crushed concrete sub-base, brought to grade and tested. Skipping this is the #1 reason driveways fail in 5 years.
Reinforcement Done Right
#3 or #4 rebar on chairs at proper spacing, or fiber-mesh in the mix. We don't dump rebar on the dirt and pour over it — that's not reinforcement.
